In a perfect world were kids rule the world that would be possible. In the real world you get rammed with taxes. If you want to transfer wealth in this world you die. That’s it. Even then, you still get taxed and loose a late chunk of that fortune.

Well if I sell the Lakeville house that I don’t live in; my mom is homeless.

If I sell the Minneapolis house my cousin Jeff, my two brothers and their daughters are homeless.

If I sell the house I live there would be a fair amount of people homeless.


If I sell any of them I’d end up getting way less then they were bought for.

So really I have to hold onto them until the market comes back, if ever. I don’t want to do that so I’ll give someone else the glories of paying bills and dealing with that stress.

Sure thing. Might be hard to sell the two Lakeville houses but the house we own in Minneapolis is either going to be bought out by the city for imminent domain (it’s right by the light rail) or you could probably sell it for a few grand under retail market (~$350,000 is asking price)

I don’t like all these financial responsibilities. I should be going out and partying and falling in love not over burdened with financial responsibilities and the stress of a middle aged man. If you want to feel free to take up my offer.
